It is very interesting to say the least, has him with 100 knot winds in 120 hours, which I think is a very real possibility.

Fabian will more than likely make Hurricane status today. As far as him being a fish storm I will hold off on that. I know that normally we would think that with a hurricane in this position, but with the Bermuda high as strong as it is and as far West as it is and is progged to be I am beginning to have my doubts that Fabian will even miss the Islands. As currently predicted he would at least graze the Northern Islands and each model run seems to take him a little further W for a little while longer.

I too think we have TD#11 in the making in the S Central GOM and a NHC call no later than 5am tomorrow, IMO(trying to play conservative here due to proximity to Yucatan). If the consolidation we have witnessed overnight continues today then an 11pm call will become much more likely.

I'll probably be in harm's way this weekend, simply because the people don't know when to pull us off the golf course. I'm out of the tropics way, but certainly in danger when it comes to lightning. (I'm just going a 2 hours south, beach is 4)

Agree! I am starting to look at Fabian with a little more concern. If it's going to go away from us, then it better start that decrease of motion speed and that turn to the northwest soon!

I second David and Cyclomans statements about starting to be more concern here in Puerto Rico.It bettter start to change course soon to the NW to then be a big fish spinner because if it continues to move more westward we may see Fabian more closer to the islands than what the models are projecting.
