The NHC will make the call at 5 PM if it is a hurricane because with the pressure of 990 mbs it fits into cane status.

But with this pulse up in convection, it makes sense!!!!

If it ain't a cane by 5 PM, I bet by 11 PM it will!!! It's still intensifying, that's the key here!
