Anybody have a fish aquarium? Need Help...

I have an African fish (a Cichlid) and he has something wrong with him. I thought it was ick at first and I treated it. It goes away for a few days and comes right back. Now he looks like he has blood at the bottom of his stomach. Any idea what this fish could possibly have?!!

I had to move him into a 10 gallon tank, because I do not know what he has and do not want the other fish to get it.

Any help would be much appreciated. I have a 125 gallon tank that he was in.

Lindaloo..Tony is at work right now but he knows alot about this stuff. I will show him this post when he gets home. We used to have african chiclids but he got rid of them I am sure he can help you!! (((hugs))))

He gets home anywhere between 8-10pm. Depends how busy it is!!!

Found out from my vet, that my electric blue cichlid has bloat, a fungus and ICH. Yes, all three. I had to isolate him to a hospital tank and treat him with Hexamit and some salt. The doc says he should be fine in about a week.

You can get the chemicals you need at the pet store..Don't get it at the vet. You need aquarium salt 1 teaspoon per ten gallons..Sorry about the late response..Tony didn't get home till midnight and I went to work at 5am..I just got home..Love ya lots ((((HUGS))))

I bought the CLOUT at Petsmart. Does Tony know about CLOUT? I heard it is very harsh. I bought some Epsom Salt. I hope that works too. Let me know.
