Any New Thinkings on the GOM disturbance???
Just wondering what anyones thoughts are on the GOM disturbance now. It does look like it has calmed down.... but after looking at the latest Satellite Pics.. It would appear it is just now starting to flare up again. It's obvious to see all the moisture being pulled northward into Louisiana at this time , but I can also see a northwest movement too. Anyone else have any thoughts?

GOM
Looks VERY disorganized to me. Just an elongated tropical wave. No concentration of thunderstorms. Certainly no TD today, and now less than a 50-50 shot of becoming a TD before moving inland. Most likely just a rain event along the TX/LA coasts Sunday/Monday.
Time to concentrate on Fabian again...
