Interesting to note that every model brings Nate to at least minimal hurricane status.

GFS had Mexico first, Euro was up in NGOM. GFS has been on Mexico the entire time except for one run. I would say GFS has nailed this if it verifies.

Bay of Campeche storms are pretty difficult for models to diagnose correctly at times. All the models had their bad runs this time.

We drive little remote control 4x4s in the sand and dirt....in the backyard. It was a tropical place about 3 years ago. I bet Austin would have some great desert dunes for us to nitro around on :D

Oh let everyone be wrong...grrr The NHC track is spot on :double:

@Rock - Thanks bro! Put it back in the freezer.

GFS had a bad run after hitting a base hit last storm. I thought wobble wars were bad. It's bunk gfs model runs that are the worst!

If 0z EURO gives Mexico solution again, then it's time to move on (which I already have).

Like 1 of the pros posted earlier, if Nate was going North, it wouldn't have been going south.

ENOUGH with model war bull people. This is not a playground. This thread is about the model runs as it pertains to the storm in question. All other posts will be deleted and warnings issued. If someone wants to start a thread in Talkin Tropics about model verification that's ok.....

We have to think positively. Latest NHC indicates maybe no more disaster for Texas in the form of a damaging storm. That is a good thing. Go from that premise.....

Well at least we know that as an absolute 100% fact that it won't hit texas. I was actually feeling hopeful this morning when not all of the models had consolidated....
