AT 5 AM AST...0900Z...THE CENTER OF HURRICANE FABIAN WAS LOCATED
NEAR LATITUDE 18.0 NORTH...LONGITUDE 51.9 WEST OR ABOUT 640
MILES...1035 KM...EAST OF THE LEEWARD ISLANDS.

FABIAN IS MOVING TOWARD THE WEST-NORTHWEST NEAR 13 MPH...20 KM/HR...
AND THIS MOTION IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT DAY OR SO.

MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS ARE NEAR 125 MPH...205 KM/HR...WITH HIGHER

Wonder how much longer before it starts to take that swing. On the Carribean Board, someone posted they have 2 1/2 days to get ready if it doesn't move soon - and that was yesterday!

Joshua, I believe the 5:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time Advisory issued this morning was released between 4:30 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time.
