America as we knew it changed that day. Those 10 years and younger have grown up in a world different than we ever imagined.

I don't forget the Pentagon and Shanksvile. 55 soldiers died on 9/11. :(

Because it's very appropriate. Do not read it if it bothers you.

We must remember all who died that day and their families. The memorials were beautiful, I love NY's. I love the idea of a bench for each person at the Pentagon. In Shanksville, that will be another Gettysburg for Pennsylvania.

Did anyone see the Verizon commercial with Celine Dion & Josh Groban singing "The Prayer"? They also showed the Budweisser horses paying homage to the WTC, but this time it was a grass field they stood on and not snow.

The football game's memorials were just right.

God Bless America.

I just shared that video with everyone on Twitter and Facebook. AWESOME story. It must've been a sight to see all of those boats rushing to help evacuate.

Amen to that. 9/11 was truly tragic for America and world. It shook America deep to its core. 9/11 still has an impact to this very day from security to the economy. Some people think the current recession was caused in part by 9/11.

9/11 really did change the world forever... and the repercussions continue to this day. The biggest news story in the history of TV most likely(only JFK's assassination remotely compares)... network TV was on for 5 days uninterrupted.

http://www.archive.org/details/sept_11_tv_archive <<<This is a fascinating site recently unveiled. It brought it all back for me... I never cared much for the news before that day and was glued to it for months afterwards, my news/political interest that still exists today was born that day(at times it's been as big as my weather interest that goes much further back)

great site, just getting started digging around there. Watching
ABC @ 8:30 9/11 right now, they are talking about pet dna, and
how we can make our pets live longer. Amazing being able to
look back and see just moments before our lives change forever.

I have seen the video. It can be divided between before and after 8:46 AM. As they are reporting, airplanes are being hijacked in the air. The following days coverage of 9/11 is really sad. :( Also, they change the opening music, especially ABC News.
