We got lots of rain from those bands. Didn't seem tornadic. No winds.

Yards are flooded. Pond over the berm. Most rain and water level in a few years. Drought beaten here.

Rain continues over South Florida but we can't see it on radar.

Miami radar has been knocked out.

Why is the Miami Radar always out in rain events?

I'd love to hear the answer to that question. It is becoming more of a constant than something occasional.

Weird. Right when the rain should end.

Another clear air blast of cold front has pushed that lingering stationary border and its clouds out from on top of us.

Summer 2010 was the warmest on record for the Tampa Bay area and December 2010
was the coldest on record for the same area. Must be some kind of North Atlantic Oscillation-enhanced
amplitude of the polar/subtropical jets...then all the severe weather outbreaks we had in spring of 2011
were the worst since the february 2007 and february 1998 strong el nino-induced severe weather outbreaks
with the deadly tornadoes across the FL peninsula.
The good thing about this recent pattern is lack of hurricanes hitting FL for 6 years.

COLDEST WEATHER of the fall season is upon us. They might even post frost warnings for Citrus/Levy counties for Sat AM. Here in New Port Richey they are predicting 46F. Still brrrr considering it was 80F yesterday. November has been nice but a little cool. Nights have not been very warm, but good sleeping weather. We could use some rain since we missed out on all the good stuff weeks ago. :P

Same cold front has descended on us too. COLD. Feels early for this temperature. Back into the 80's in a few days...

Chilled to 43F here this morning but already into the 60'sF. Quick warm up then a nice, warm week! I have a feeling it is going to be an up and down winter if this fall is any signal. I am getting a LOT of yard work and shadehouse/greenhouse work done in this weather.

The good ole "ice box" of FL, there was almost a 50 deg temp range between TLH and the Keys this morning!

Yea, it was very chilly here this morning. Made it down to 28 degrees here on campus unofficially, although as soon as you left campus frost was everywhere.

Lows have been in the 70s along the SE coast of Florida for the past week and looks like that is not going to end anytime soon. Thank the strong east winds off of the warm Gulf Stream current

very warm November, no sign of winter at all here yet. Lows in the lower 70s, highs in the uppers 70s to near 80F....looks like a front moves through later this week, which should get rid of some of this humidity and lower temps some, but still above normal.
