Looks like Fabian starting its predicted NW movement

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

i said it would weaken last night as it hit the shear zone to its west. it is clearly being stretched from sw to ne. i nkow john meese said it wouldnt weaken, but i think a weakening trend has already begun.

I agree with both of you, looks to be on a more WNW heading than before, and it also looks to be weakening a bit.. Is the SW-NE stretching of the clouds self induced sheer, because I don't see where it would be coming from..

The more jogs/wobbles there are puts Fabian (or any tropical cyclone) in a different position than it really otherwise would be.
