2011 Year in Review

#1 Postby Typhoon Hunter » Fri Dec 30, 2011 9:46 am

Hello!

As 2011 is about to be shown the door I thought I'd put together a video highlighting the stories I covered over the last 12 months out here in the Asia Pacific region.

http://youtu.be/GNs7GSSPi2Y

The video contains accounts of my expeditions to document the eruptions at Kirishima and Sakurajima volcanoes in Japan, the horrendous aftermath of the Japan earthquake and tsunami disaster and typhoons Songda, Muifa, Nanmadol and Nesat. Actually all but two of my trips took me to Japan and given I recently married one of their lovely citizens I'm getting to know the country quite well!

Who know's what 2012 has in store, just hopefully no more earthquakes and tsunamis.
