I need help

#1 Postby weatherlover427 » Mon Sep 01, 2003 2:02 pm

I almost got killed just now :o :( .., let me expolain..

(sorry for the tyopos ... I';m shaking very bad right nwo  )

I was getting super infuriated at a bunch of stuff just now, so I went for a small bike ride. I pedaled as hard as I could, and at the end of my alley I was going so fast that when I slammed on my brakes to try to make the trun I wobbled and almost wiped out. :o

Then when I made the next turn (a right) I almost hit a curb and a parked car. :o

After that I almost wiped out again turning back into my alley. :o

Finally when I got back to my building I slammed on my brakes again and wobbled while coming to a stop. :o

FOUR NEAR MISSES and I got svaed each time. :o Boy am I lucky.

Now let me explain a bit of something.

I missed my past 3 evening medication doses. That could be why I was a bit edgier than usual. I am coming down from my emtoinal highs now so if I offended anybody by my attitude or my spam I sincerely apologize. I hope I will not get banned. :(

Wow...you are lucky!!! :o I've been in some nasty bike crashes and they do not feel good. ;) I'm glad you're OK though!

And I'm sure you will not be banned, Joshua...a little big of edginess never hurts anybody! ;)

I'm sure you'll be ok on the board, Josh. It's a good place to blow off some steam. Take care of yourself, bud. We don't want anything to happen to you.

What I am glad about is I realized I needed to go cool off before I lost it; which I am glad that I did. What I am not glad about is how it turned out. :(

Josh don't worry about getting banned. I haven't noticed any "edginess" in your posts ever. It's alright for everyone to be a little edgy once in awhile anyways. Try not to slip on taking your medication either. That can't be good. Well I'm judt glad you cooled down and returned safely. :)

One thing I've learned in 22 years of it...NEVER miss a single pill, capsule or dose of Rx...and, in all that time, I haven't (even when the Rx as prescribed was a result of bad diagnoses).

The "serum level" in your bloodstream must be maintained at all costs...this is the most important thing to remember.

I agree with Bill 110%....one should never miss a dosage....it takes so long to get the blood level of meds back up. I take Lortab 10/500 for my headaches and chronic back pain (I've been on this med for over 18 years now, ever since my car wreck when I fractured my skull), if I miss "1" dose, it throws my whole system off. Take care Josh and get your meds!

Make sure you get back on schedule with your medications. Those 4 near-misses were probably due to missing them - each time it made you more nervous and it was probably amplified due to the lack of medication in your system.

Listen to what Bill had said. We all get on edge from time to time Josh - I'm DEFINATELY no exception to that! You're not helping yourself though by missing your doses, so make sure you keep on your regular schedule - you hear???

P.S. I'm glad that you are feeling better this morning!

Speaking about medication. Once one has to take something for any number of reasons... you can never never be weaned off it/will always need it your own life. In some ways, it doesn't make any sense.

Don't get me wrong, I understand some individuals need to be on medication forever. I think everyone knows what I mean.
