Accuweather reporting 6 confirmed fatalities so far in Indiana.

Storm is moving away now, and there is a strengthening hook echo, so wouldn't be surprised if they lucked out and it was cycling as it passed by.

Terrible, terrible day unfolding.

If there's any saving grace thus far, I haven't seen (to my untrained eye) anything that appears to be EF-5 type of damage.

But I've only seen a few snippets of video and the day is still young.

Lots of conflicting reports on fatalities.

Some media outlets reporting six confirmed deaths in Indiana, others only one confirmed fatality.

Is there an easy way to block out all the @@@@@@@@@ sign stuff?



Power was out here for a couple of hours which also took out the ISP connection booster. No significant damage locally again. Lots of trees and branches, but nothing major.
