Cincinnati dodged a bullet. Debris falling out of the sky near CVG, which had to close for cleanup, and in the northern burbs. School papers from Indiana school found in Blue Ash OH. We had black clouds and heavy rain but thankfully were in between the 2 large super cells that moved through.

The terrain in eastern Kentucky is not friendly for chasing. These storms will be hidden until it is too late!!!

Yeah, I was thinking that. At one point, over 200 kts of rotation if I remember correctly.

And the debris ball on one radar image I saw was HUGE.

It appeared to make a direct hit on West Liberty (population 3,277).

That was the storm that passed over my parents' place earlier...the debris ball formed just 15 minutes after it passed by...they said that the clouds were lifting very rapidly (updraft).
