Good evening everyone!!
WELCOME GATOR Glad to have you with us here at Storm2k.
Btw, does it ever get above 0 there at Saranac Lake?? With some of the reports I see from there it seems more like the Arctic than the good ole USA!!! :o
M2!!! Are you still dancing??
:o If so please redirect your aim!!!
It's been pouring here and we still have all day tomorrow to go with the present from you and Steve!
Some areas to our NW have had over 6" of rain today. At the abode in W. Houston I've had 3/4" today + 1" yesterday.
Pojo!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!! If you can juggle Calc 1 and ChemII you are one awesome young lady!! Wait!! YOU ALREADY ARE!! I know you will make the right decision re: the Air Force!! I can imagine you looking right smart in an Air Force uniform!!! Next thing you know we'll hear reports of this incredible new AF forecaster making sure all of our troops know exactly what weather they will face as they defend our country. :usa
Hey Rob! You can't steal my Avatar!! I took that picture myself!!!hehehe I bet you hope you look that good in a speedo at my age!!
StormCrazyIowan, I must ask that you not talk like that while it is raining here!!! I have steaks and salmon screaming to be let out of the freezer to jump on the grill!
Man the boats landlubbers!!! Currently raining again at a rate of .36"/hr and training!!! And they said we were gonna catch a break!!
Yeah right!! That was just punctuated by a LOUD roll of THUNDER!!
Well, it is late and I need to get some other things done before I go for my beauty sleep.

M2!!! Are you still dancing??

Only dance in the morning putting it all together Dave, but the night is time for candles & incense...which have the same effect. Steve currently has rain

Will ya guys and gals do some rain dancing for Orange County, California? We have a storm progged to bring some significant rain by Monday; and I want you to dance so that it happens. Thanks!
I'm cold. The heater in the apartment works, but it makes a junkload of noise.
Otherwise I'd use it. No use putting warmer clothes on as I have to go to bed in about a half hour or so.
See ya manana! -- Joshua

Happy Birthday Rob!
Like I told Garrett earlier, that is only half of the semester classes...the other two are Physics II and Environmental Geology. Environmental Geology, Physics II, Calculus II, and Chemistry II are the classes that I am currently enrolled in for the Spring Semester! That is 17 hard earned credits! Plus on top of working at one of the local YMCA's and volunteering with UWGB Habitat for Humanity, I've been one busy young lady. Over the past couple of days, I have been trying to call the local USAF recruiter about my decision. Unfortunately, he has been unavailable. (I am not giving up though...if I want things bad enough...I get pretty persistent) I called him on Thursday and left a message on his voice mail saying that I would like to talk to him in person, because I still have a few lingering questions. But otherwise, I pretty much have my mind set. When parents and grandparents aren't surprised with my USAF decision, I think that sends a message.

Well, its Calc II and Chem II. (Calculus I wasn't that bad...I had an awesome professor...my current calc II professor is pretty cool too!)vbhoutex wrote:Pojo!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!! Breeze, you aren't the only one. One of my roommates needs to have a root canal done. She went to the dentist on Wednesday, and well, that is when she found out about the root canal. Oh believe me, she isn't looking forward to the procedure.
As for the temperature...its a balmy 45* in Green Bay! Yes I do mean 45*. But all good things must come to an end. Snow flurries and much, much colder temperatures are expected tomorrow. High is only forecasted to reach 24*. Yikes!!!

Well, I hope everyone's having a better day than breeze. The upside to having all the nerves dug out of your tooth is that puppy will never give you an ounce of trouble again. Hope it went okay.
Skywatch - Are you a Skywarn spotter? If so, looks like you may be called to active duty tomorrow.

Well, folks, thanks for the kind words! I have to go back in two weeks to finish up. Right now, the left side of my mouth is drooping and "I tawk fuddy", lol, but, the feeling is starting to come back. I am thankful to
have a wonderful dentist. I've often commented, that, if he cut my head
off, it wouldn't hurt!
Like you said, isobar, it will be good to get those troubles outta that tooth!

Hey ya'll! I only have a few minutes in here to spend so I thought I would take a second and warm up by the fire. What a rainy night looks to be in store for us. Plus, we are under a Winter Storm Watch for Sunday. Looks like 6-10" going to be hammering us here. Can you say fun?
Everyone have a great weekend and pray for the families of those who have lost friends and family members in the numerous tragic events within the last 24 hours!
