Accuweather says strong rotation on storm north and west of Fort Worth. Advising people to take cover.
So far, only a SVR-TS warning on that storm by NWS.

So far it's been mid level circulation, definitely worth watching but nothing surface based just yet.

FYI, massive flooding event unfolding across Oklahoma. Norman area has already had 4" today.
EDIT: Storm chaser Reed Timmer just tweeted that his home in Norman has flooded from all of the heavy rain.
From Tulsa NWS:
"WIDESPREAD RAINFALL AMOUNTS FROM 4 TO 8 INCHES ARE EXPECTED
ACROSS A GOOD PORTION OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST
ARKANSAS. ISOLATED AREAS COULD RECEIVE RAINFALL AMOUNTS
BETWEEN A FOOT AND 15 INCHES. WIDESPREAD AND POTENTIALLY
CATASTROPHIC AREAL FLOODING AND RIVER FLOODING WOULD RESULT
SHOULD THESE AMOUNTS MATERIALIZE."

At the moment, no severe warnings in North Texas.
And the only warned storm in the entire state of Texas is the one near Junction that is tornado warned.

Thunderstorms exploding from Lake Amistad to near Junction. Also a lone storm getting its act together south of Uvalde. San Antonio might have to watch out for that one in a bit.

Tornado warned storm just west of Junction is moving east towards the city. They need to be taking tornado precautions there. So does South Llano River State Park.

Four supercells firing right now south of Uvalde, moving towards San Antonio. These bear serious watching as they move towards SA.

Flash flooding is going to be a big player this evening 2-3+ an hour rain rates are occurring west of the metroplex. It is very slow to move and another will probably build northeast from the SW later tonight. Turn around don't drown!

EWX radar is starting to light up. Portastorm and the rest of the Austin/San Antonio regions better be ready these supercells mean business, well advertised. SA seems to be in the line of fire first.

Those supercells look mean. Good luck tonight everybody. I will likely be on the forums as the storms roll through Houston

Re: Texas Spring 2012
Had to hit the road and goto McKinney from Little Elm on 380 to take a test, just as the squall line arrived. Lots of heavy rain and heard a couple dings from some pea-sized hail before I got back ahead of the line. It was windy but not too horrible. Saw some incredible lightning strikes on the drive back though, about once every minute. Stay safe all.
