Nervously waiting to find out if our daughter is in active labor and about to deliver our second granddaughter. Her contractions, though not strong, are 2 minutes apart. She is at 36 weeks and the baby is sized at least that many weeks and probably more. We are hoping that she will be able to go home and relax and wait a few more weeks at least, but...???? She is a scheduled c-section for May 10, but they have told her this morning that they will not stop the labor if it continues.
She just called and is being put in L&D for 2 hours With fluids and if she doesn't start dilating they are going to send her home.
Anyway asking for prayers of comfort and patience for all of us and that God's will be done.
Edit @ 5pm- Daughter is here with us waiting for our Granddaughter to finish her nap. Doctor has sent her home with an Ambien and instructions to get a full nights rest. I will go home with her to stay till her husband gets off work so she can sleep even if Emily wakes up. Will not be surprised if we do have another Granddaughter within the next 24 hours. Still hoping for at least a few more weeks though.
Prayers please

Re: Prayers please
The contractions have stopped and she is at work today. Will see her later this afternoon before she takes granddaughter to siblings class. Hopefully the report will be fine still at that time.

I don't know why I missed this too, but I'm glad that she's doing well now. You always want the baby to go full term, but at the very least, she sounds like she would do fine even if she does show up earlier.
