This is the one that just came out of OK. It could be approaching the Wichita, KS metro area in the next half hour.

SOUTHWESTERN SUMNER COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS...

* UNTIL 930 PM CDT

* AT 842 PM CDT...A CONFIRMED LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO
WAS LOCATED NEAR MANCHESTER...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

HAZARD...DAMAGING TORNADO.

SOURCE...WEATHER SPOTTERS CONFIRMED TORNADO.

IMPACT...MAJOR HOUSE AND BUILDING DAMAGE LIKELY AND COMPLETE

This is the one that @wxbrad said 207.2 mph velocities scanned. That's a bad son of a gun for sure.

Maybe two EF-5's on ground at the same time in Kansas. The Bluff City tornado has 207.2 mph velocities.

Has that ever happened before? Two EF-5 tornadoes on ground at once?

Not sure, but both tornadoes are capable of CATASTROPHIC destruction.

One date - 4 EF-5 tornadoes: April 27th 2011. The Hackleburg EF 5 and the Smithsville EF 5 overlapped each other timewise, I think.

St. John and Milan are both about to be hit...the Milan cell is reported to be 3/4 of a mile wide...wowww

Milan and St. John both face catastrophic destruction if they get a direct hit. This could be as bad as Greensburg or the bad April 27 tornadoes.

Probably both April 27, 2011 and the 1974 Super Outbreak but its extremely, extremely rare.

Rapid Update Model has a STP of 15.8 near Pratt, KS. Didn't know it could go that high. - from Brad Panovich (Twitter)
