8:00PM STORM2K TROPICAL UPDATE-SEPTEMBER 2, 2003

#1 Postby vbhoutex » Tue Sep 02, 2003 8:32 pm

The 8:00pm CDT Storm2k tropical update can be found at http://storm2k.org/Weather-Central/Trop ... ropics.htm

In the Atlantic Hurricane Fabian is moving WNW to NW as a major CAT 4 hurricane with winds of 140mph and gusts to 170 mph. Will he become a threat to the US, Bermuda or the Canadian Maritimes? Invest 96L is looking very healthy just S of the Cape Verde Islands and could very well become TS Henri in the near future. We are also watching an area of disturbed weather in the NW Caribbean expected to move into the SE GOM. Check it all out at the above link.

David to clarify something about 96L invest that one is for wave west of the Cv islands and the wave south of the CV islands is the one to watch as it is at a low latitud but still has not given the 97L invest however I will say that will happen soon.
