Hello and welcome to Storm2K, once again. jvance75. Nice to see you posting.

This system in the Gulf of Mexico bears watching. There is a 60% to 90% chance of showers and
thunderstorms for the next few days across central and northern Florida. Flood Watches as
you may know are out for just about the entire peninsula.

Looks like this one has the big bend area of Florida written all over it, unless something drastically changes...

I think it will go into Florida. There is a cold front swinging down just in time for 95 to be picked up and slingshot it to Rainband's back yard.

The developing low in the Gulf of Mexico is not expected to move fast (will not be picked up and move quickly across west-central, central and northern Florida. The forecast wouldn't be calling for 48 to 72 hours of showers and thunderstorms; which may bring flooding rain to some portions of central and northern Florida.

The cold front is expected to move into northern Florida on Saturday as this low moves up the east coast.

Looks like Charlie formed further north than this system.

Both Jonathan and myself are in for a lot of rain, as I indicated.
Still may be a slingshot, not the speed of the low, though. :)

Welcome JtSmarts to Storm2k. There's some potential for some heavier rainfall ... but there's some differences with the ETA/GFS in the short term. Right now, the scattered showers and Thunderstorms in South Carolina are in association with a southerly flow enhanced by a shortwave crossing the area.
