Jacksonville's EOC is at Level 1 Red. All hands on deck now and they could have a long night. Please take a second to say a prayer for all the first responders.

Jax Pier Cam looks like its locked or offline now. Was bouncing pretty good a few minutes ago.

that was flight level...I think...992MB means its still deepening....albeit slow...

Most bridges in Florida are rated to close at 40mph sustained winds, and it seems extremely likely they're going to get some of those.

FDOT has their cameras off, grr.... they have some good locations.

very close to Hurricane strength with that last past....75 kts flight level....992...IMO I would put out Hurricane warnings just so people know this is serious. Still has a few hours left over water....

Just talked to a buddy of mine out at Jax Beach. He measured a wind gust of 53 mph in that heavy feederband passing through currently and already over an inch of rain and falling heavily.
