well the main band is on the duval/st johns county coast right now. so far it looks like a good, solid tropical storm but no hurricane based on the obs i've seen.

Buoy quite likely in the center of the storm - note the lower winds and rapid pressure drop. At 5pm, this buoy was 15 miles or so west of the storm center. Highest sustained winds have been around 45mph with a gust to 58mph. We will know soon if there are stronger winds on the east side of the storm.
