Flood Watches were actually cancelled for east-central Florida counties, but remain in effect for west-central Florida. I would think those that were take down should be reissued.

I agree East Central will have water issues for sure. This system will still produce mega rains. With the SW flow of moisture and the Daily heating alone there will be rain pushing across the state for sure. Now if this system hangs it will give the W coast more rain, but I don't think any threat resides only on the west coast. Obviously it's a close call so keep up the watches imho. :roll:

The reason why they were taken down for east-central Florida, was the timing... in the near future they should really be put back up.

I think your right Tom. Looking at TBW radar those cells are not moving in the NE direction and with the system developing/concentrating it will be a day or so before the East coast gets the same rains..They will get the rain though..in time..
