New and have a question.

Hi Storm2K!

First of all, thank you so much for having this excellent forum. I wanted to know with TD 12 headed toward northern Florida, what is this blob coming off the Yucatan Pens? Looks pretty strong on the Gulf IR loop.

Thank you in advance,

Thanks bunches! No rain here in the panhandle as of yet. Did have some nice cloud formations earlier this morning. I think this thing will miss us and and go to our east, but as always too early to tell :)

Conection is needed for tropical development, of course... so the convection coming off of the Yucatan peninsula could always work its way into Tropical Depression 12.

I know what I mean, not sure if the reponses to this will indicate that. :?

Welcome fla-girl!

Tom - I believe what you were saying was that if the convection off of the Yucatan Peninsula were to join with TD12, it would help it develop more - right???
