She looks bad this morning (has she ever really looked healthy though?), although not as bad as yesterday morning.

According to the latest NHC wild field graphic, TS winds are being felt as far inland as Orlando and as far south as Sanibel Island. If Debby continues an ESE drift, I think NHC might have to extend the TS warnings south. Hypothetically, if Debby does make landfall in Tampa, they would need to issue warnings all the way down to the Keys.

Debby is the worst looking tropical storm I have ever seen. Lets hope Debby completely falls about and only has a few clouds to it.

Florida Highway Patrol is reporting 3-4 feet of water across the road at the intersection of US 27 and US 19 in Jefferson County.

Also that the St. George Island Bridge is closed and no one is being let onto the island.

The circ itself is actually more defined today. no multiple vorts. probably wont translate to very much though.

Don't see any movement SE at all. Just a pretty strong LLC swirl was going around the broader center cyclonically. Looks like track is still correct and won't be shifted.

Overall heading appears to be just north of due east.

Looks as though the movement of bands to north of the N.E. Quad, is moving the other way - S.W.?
Will she go over Fl - or do a counter clock loop and stay there? (or stall)
Also looks like High building over right half storm?

I will say this, her circulation is pretty vigorous but looks a little elongated SW/NE

Looks like Debby is merging with the cold front today. Doesn't look tropical at all now. Quite a few obs offshore indicate peak winds now about 30 kts.

Yes

ok but just an anti-climatic one. The real story was all the outer rain bands that caused all the flooding there and elsewhere. Her actual 'Landfall' may hardly be noticed. (Unless of course she decides to become a real t.s. and develop some actual convection around the center.)

See wxman57's post just below yours. That would explain it.

The last HDOB message was at 10:10AM EDT before a pass into the center. Nothing since.
