Agreed...it would be nice to have a site to access that doesn't require flash since the Apple devices are not flash or java friendly.

Hurricane HD from kittycode allows you to view sat loops. Also you can use this page which has animated GIF'S.

Here is the link for HAMweather. No floaters but usually a quick download and nice selection of maps and formats. http://mapcenter.hamweather.com/satelli ... ?s=640x480

I can too, on my Asus transformer, but with flash support being eliminated on android we will all need another solution soon.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I can see everything fine on my Android phone and on my laptop so I guess I will stick with those for now. I just got a new iPad for work and it would be nice to view sat loops on it. Since I live in South Louisiana and I am a school principal, I make it my business to keep up with storms if and when they threaten. While I have to wait for official declarations for closing school and evac. keeping up with storms helps me prepare my school site early and not have to rush get everything done.
Thanks again,
Tim

You certainly can run flash loops on an iPad. I have a Windows desktop on mine, running MS Word, PowePoint, Excel, etc. The way I do it is with the OnLive Desktop app:

https://desktop.onlive.com/

I log in and run a virtual Windows desktop, complete with the ability to run MS Office and any flash animations.

Wxman How can you view flash loops when the app says there is no web browsing?
