N42 is on their last pass through:
#NOAA42 is heading south on its last pass through #Isaac. Bumpiest ride we had all day as we went through some convection near the center.

Also, for those that may be interested...I asked about the planes (both NOAA and AF) being hit by lightning:
@HRD_AOML_NOAA
@brunota2003 numerous times. Burns a small hole on Lightning arresting wicked designed to protect aircraft. St. Elmo's fire is also common.
we try to fly low enough to prevent such occurrence. Lower than altitude of 0 deg Celsius or 14000 ft usually best.

yep.....still needs to iron out these...why are they flying up near the 700mb level....is that the best altitude to fly while looking for a low level center?

Ok people, I'm going to be on and off for this one probably. Some tests have come back and I'm going to have to retake one to make sure there's nothing going on in my left lung that shouldn't be there. More than likely it's just a 'artifcact' and nothing to be concerned about but they want to make sure. I also have to slow down a lot for a few weeks...doctors orders. So, I'll help on recon when I can, I doubt if I can carry a full mission this round but there are plenty of people on here that can help out I'm sure...all I can do is my best at this point and that's what you'll get. with that said, time to take more meds, relax for a little while then take it from there. I'm sick but I'm not dead yet....just running a little slower than I'm used to.

Edit: I know what I said above and now I'm sitting on a recon mission...so shoot me. :P

Edit Edit: Can someone do graphics for me? If not I'll do them after we get closer to the system.
