This topic should be in the off-topic forum, shouldn't it?
I have heard from time to time that typing in all capital letters is considered "yelling."
But also, using all capital letters just doesn't look right. The majority of members here, (including me) wouldn't want to read every post in this way.

I agree, SF... I know what you mean by using capitals not being yelling; it does indeed emphasis a point.
The only posts that have all capital letters are Weather Statements from the National Hurricane Center and National Weather Service offices and at times even the Storms Predition Center in Norman, Oklahoma. These statements after all are making a point.
