stormsfury, I'm using subrebel - it works best for me. Can't read the others hardly at all. As I said in a prior post, if no one else has complaints then I'll just have to deal with it or go elsewhere.

Hi dixiebreeze! I'm not that computer savvy but it was my impression all caps is similar to shouting or yelling in person. The majority of message board posters prefer it when you don't use all caps. Since I've been typing for a long, long time, to use all caps would seem odd to me anyway! JMHO.

My resolution is 1024 x 768. I understand having it set for this is best for your monitor and eyes.

Dixiebreeze -- click on the Start button and go to Settings, then Control Panel, then click the Display Icon.

Under "Display Properties" click settings and make sure your resolution is set at 1024 x 768. Then, if the option is there, click "Advanced." If it gives you an option under "General" to change your DPI setting, do that -- from normal to large.

That's a big IF on the last one. Not sure what system you're running or what your monitor settings are.

I set mine to that and it made the letters smaller.

When you aren't used to the 1024 x 768 resolution, it will look tiny for a bit of time until you get used to it, but like I mentioned about... it is better for your monitor and eyes.

Missed your post before mine Tom. Oops. I do like this much better though. When someone has a radar image posted I do not have to keep sliding the screen from left to right so I can read the posts. lol. Cool beans.

I'm seeing TOO much off-topic stuff. If you need help, got to the
Tips, Help and Tests fourm. If I bossed, I'm sorry, folks,
but that is the only way if you need help.

.....and I was honestly thinking the "Tips, Help and Tests" forum would be the most appropriate forum as well. :)

Oh, heck. I've been here for a couple of months now and only today realized that there were other forums.

Dixie.. Font here is no smaller then anywhere else.. What i suggest you doing is going to Start button, then controll panel, then display, then settings, and setting your display to 800 X 600...

That is the only option. Many people use 1024x786 so decreasing the screeen size to 800x600 will definately increase all font sizes.

Another option is a PC Magnifier program. You can go to http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html? ... tg=dl-2001 and try one of the FREE programs to help screen vision. :)

I too was taught that TYPING LIKE THIS ALL OF THE TIME IS CONSIDERED YELLING. I also consider this to be yelling as well since it is such a large font size.

Dixie,

The best way to do it is click your view button, top of the page in explorer, then click text size. This should bring it up to any size you like.
