Isaac check in for Storm2k members

#1 Postby lurkey » Sat Aug 25, 2012 1:54 pm

This is a severe weather "check-in" post to make it easier for those affected by Isaac to check in and let their fellow Storm2k.org members know that they are ok. ....

Often with today's technology it much easier to go to FB to "check in" on a smartphone is than pulling up Storm2k on the web on their phones... and even easier than waiting for the power to come back on.... A post on Facebook will be up at the Storm2k FB group for checking for those who can't make their way to the board.

If you have an IRC chat app on your phone, you can also pm me (ginny in #storm2k and #storm2k_ot on the esper.net servers.) and I will add you to this post as "checked in".

Please put your check-in as a comment to this post with your storm2k board nickname (if you check in on FB or a PM in chat)...

Everyone in Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia stay safe as Isaac makes his way to the CONUS. Thanks!

I'm here. I'm in Hammond, LA, right now, using my uncle's laptop (hard to type on this thing). Currently without power at my house, but hopefully not too much longer.

Is there anything we S2Kers can do? That's my question.
