The lake level has dropped steadily over the past few weeks due to releases...previously, levels were over 15.95 but are now down to 15.89 or lower, according to water levels in the local newspaper sections.

Normally, operating levels for the lake are between 12.5 and 15.5 ft which is a safe range for the Herbert Hoover Dike
structure, that's why!
