#1 Postby Josephine96 » Sat Sep 06, 2003 8:37 pm

This is too funny.. you should read this...

10.. "It's redeveloping..."
9.... "The NHC IS ON DRUGS" {I've probably said that occasionally}
8... Pray for Subsidence...
7... "Oh my God.. it's gonna hit Florida.."
6... "Avila is a moron"

5... "This 1 is for Texas.."
4... "it's gonna be a cat 5"
3... "That's definitely a TS"
2... "Why haven't they put up watches or warnings.."

and the number 1 thing I remember from Go Pbi... "I see an eye"

I'm sorry, but I can't resist this, a faux-Great One forecast on Isabel as of the present time since I haven't seen his latest one, another one that is in my top ten of favorite GoPBI memories (this one might be a slight exaggeration by enjoy):

HURRICANE ISABEL DISCO NUMER 3
MWHC /MIDWEST HURRICANE CENTER ST LOUIS MO
10 PM CDT SAT SEP 06 2003

ISABEL HAS COTNIUED TO BCOME BETER ORGANIZED HAS AN EYE ON LASTEST SATELITE PICTURES AND BASED ON THIS DATA IS UPGRADED TO A HURRICANE. THE MOTION IS TO THE WEST AS SHE IS BEING STEERED BY THE SUB TROPICAL RIDGE. THE FORECAST CALLS FOR A CERTIAN CARIBBEAN ISLANDS THREAT AND AFTER THAT YOUR GESS IS AS GOOD AS MIEN. THE SST ARE WARM AND LOW SHEAR AHEAD WHICH WILL DEFINTELY CAUSE ISABEL TO GO UNDER RAPID INTENSIFICATION AFTER 24 HOURS AND BECOME A CATEGORY 5 HURRICANE AND PROBLY BE ONE AS IT STRIKES LAND WHERVER IT CHOSES TO STRIKE. RECOMENDED CODE YELOW FOR ALL THE LESSER ANTILLES AT THIS TIME.

12HR VT 07/0000Z 13.7N 36.5W 85 MPH
24HR VT 07/1200Z 13.7N 39.0W 100 MPH
36HR VT 08/0000Z 13.9N 41.7W 115 MPH
48HR VT 08/1200Z 14.3N 44.0W 135 MPH
72HR VT 09/1200Z 14.8N 48.0W 145 MPH
96HR VT 10/1200Z 15.6N 51.9W 150 MPH
120HR VT 11/1200Z 16.0N 56.5W 160 MPH

FORECASTER/TOM

-Andrew92 (NOT Great One, no way I'm predicting that for now, way too early, and no offense to him, I just like to laugh with his forecasts)

Greatone was right was he not. Isabel was a 145 knot/165 mph cat5 hurricane. His only mess up is he had it to far south.

What about Palk from South East New England predicting every storm 500 miles to the East of the Leeward Islands going up the east coast and striking New England, now that's hillarious.

And this is what I remember: IS MS IN ANY DANGER? I am not going to mention names. You probably can guess who always asked that question.

Another one, Is it going to hit North Carolina?
