Lol, Ntxw!

At least we can say that we at least saw something this winter! So, even if we don't see another snowflake this winter...it will not be a total bust. Although, I still think we'll see at least one proper winter storm this year.

Sure is cold, though! My heater is on full blast.

The only good use for cold is snow. Enjoy your 2-3 days of winter this week. The rest of the winter is MINE! :grrr:

Well done, Ntxw. Well done. Poor wxman57.

I'm happy for those of you who saw the white stuff last night/this morning. May this be the harbringer of much more to come!

GFS has been showing a really strong surge of cold air coming down around Christmas for a few runs now. Maybe Santa will bring us a snowy January for Christmas.

Oh what a shock that would be to your tropical blood (esp considering what the temps were like there recently).

No worries about your source region running out of cold (or snow pack) this winter. So with luck more will come down the pipeline.

As a gift you folks are sending a wee bit of heat up here again (not enough to melt anything but it will be so much nicer).

Good dusting of snow on cars and rooftops here in Kennedale. My 10 yr old sent me a pick of his front area at his house in Bowie Tx and they had about a inch maybe 1.5" :froze:

Friends helping friends. That is what it is all about. :D Thanks for the cold SS. I guess our friends in Dallas owe you a thanks for the dusting they got. :froze: :cold: Looks like we may get our first freeze of the season in the morning. Kudos to the mechanic who fixed your fans. They are definitely working. Winds gusting to around 35 mph here in Houston with a wind advisory. Not a true blue norther though. The sky is still cloudy.

Dear Mother Nature,

Please let it snow this year in Houston. Not only snow, I want like 6-7 inches. Miss Nature, you cannot let him have two winters in a row. You just can not. Thank you for listening.

Don't know about a freeze down here. I think the sky will be overcast tonight through Tuesday evening. Hard to freeze down here with a cloudy sky. Can't understand why the NWS is going with a clear sky.

Don't let that blue sky and sun fool you, if you're not bundled up that wind will hurt! But if you are bundled, take a stroll and feel the crisp air freshly delivered by our friend SaskatchewanScreamer!

May not have been a blue norther to some, sure tastes like it here in the Metroplex! Maybe we can get gboudx to make us all some gumbo :cheesy:

46F at the house here. 45% humidity and a bit gusty. It looks like the overcast will stick around for at least the near term. I dont see the clouds leaving till this afternoon.
