Clear and 71 in Houston. Not bad. I can enjoy the warm sunshine and you can have the snow in Dallas.

Western end of precip is just west of Ft. Worth. Probably another couple hours.

Closing in on two inches here in Denison. Very poor visibility. Roads are getting snowpacked and icy. Coming down very hard. Bing Crosby is crooning in the background... :D

It feels like a blizzard when the wind gusts pick up the snow from the roofs and you see a sheet of snow, its getting really bad, starting to stick on some pavement

Starting to see the same thing here. It's finally sticking to the street.

Im closing in on 2 inches, sticking much faster now. People driving to the metroplex should consider not doing so tomorrow. I have a feeling roadways will be very bad, wont get above freezing with snow cover and teens likely tonight

About an inch and half over here and it's still coming down; flakes a little smaller though. I noticed the precip shield is shrinking just a bit, but like Ntxw said...roads will not be safe tonight/morning.

Btw, this snow is great for making snowballs.

I'd say two inches here in Denison and still snowing moderately.

Bridges/overpasses and side roads are a mess. Going to be very treacherous after sundown even if snow stops.

EDIT: Just light snow now at 4:30. But what a treat, a North Texas white Christmas!

I hear that there are a bunch of cars stuck on some icy bridges around the I-20/I-35 area in southern Dallas county. I can't confirm, but I wouldn't doubt it.

Well below freezing out there.
