New Tornado Warning just issued for Norman, OK from the new cells. That is a heavily populated area too! I hope it doesn't turn into a wedge over metro!

Neither do the SPC guys. I think they haven´t even issued a TorEm.

Typically, NWS Norman is more conservative with Tornado Emergencies, they have limited them to big tornadoes in the OKC Metro...

Well there is a reason they picked Ok City/Norman to be the thunderstorm research capital of the United States.

It looks like the long-track tornado is cycling now...it will get into metro Tulsa eventually, I hope it dissipates by then!

That is the Wallcloud 20 minutes ago, that is making its way to the ground NE of Norman.

If there is one good thing, they had so much warning they would have to be ignorant to not know about the tornado coming. It was clearly obvious they had to take cover.

Lucky that the tornado formed over Lake Thunderbird and not over Norman, which it threatened to do...
