It's been growing exponentially, I fear it's only a matter of time before it may get to there. I pray it doesn't, but it just looks as bad as any storm before. Moore is a big suburb not that different in size and density compared to Joplin.

This really a worst case event... extremely violent tornado going through a populated area.

Up to 51 people dead now according to TWC. Just heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people in Oklahoma.

Hope that cell west of Dallas Fort Worth doesn't get up to anything silly. Headed due east and tries to get its act together a little.

Mike Bettes and Dr. Forbes from TWC are in Moore right now and are both on the verge of losing it emotionally. Dear Lord!

Dr Greg Forbes looking at the damage says is an EF-5 type. A big tanker in a neighborhood came flying from another place and that is what Dr Forbes said convinced him it was that rating.

I believe an F4 hit the town in 2003, so three violent ones in recent memory. That one was devastating as well that people don't remember.

I don't remember that one from 2003. TWC just showed the debris ball that developed over time as the tornado was occurring. It looks like a big red bowling ball.

I hear you Crazy. :(

The supercell southwest of DFW has barely moved the past few hours and it's still looking healthy right now.

I hope that it starts to weaken very soon. All of those people around that game will be in big trouble!

It'll pass north of the metroplex, but I don't know what all's up there.

It's almost stationary and feeding off of all the energy surrounding it. Very discreet system. Could be quite the flashflood-procuder for Brownwood county.
