Wow, huge spike

TWN here in Canada is actually continuously putting up this mini graphic of the gate-to-gate winds from the twister saying around 320 km/h or near that. I've never seen TWN or any other TV broadcast start to use that but it seems the mets over there urged them to use it. They didn't bother explaining what g2g means. I approve of it and seems to be a good decision but a lot of other things are not quite "well" over there I must say.
That supercell in TX stayed in the same spot forever it seems, imagine a tornado with that? It would be nearly stationary. The flash flooding in the worst spot probably would be incredible.
Another date and image I just found that was sort of similar to yesterday was May 19 2010, there was a tornado warning in almost the exact spot that had this Moore tornado. There were more TOR warnings to the north though and nothing like what took place yesterday occurred then. I just stumbled on it and was amazed.
The preliminary rating that the NWS uses in these events actually annoy me a lot. Saying this was an EF4 when everyone is thinking EF5 for sure, they should just not give anything until the final rating. This happened with Joplin and when the EF5 rating does come out, all the non-weather folk have to learn the upgrade. Has the NWS ever given a prelim EF5 rating ever before? (I'm including F5's too here) If there was ever an event that warranted it...
