Impressive wave of the african coast.

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Impressive wave of the african coast.

#1 Postby SFLcane » Fri May 31, 2013 10:35 am

Strong wave for this time of the year has rolled of the african coast with a 1008mb low embedded in it. Should be interesting to see if it manages to survive the trek across the atl. Nothing to be to concerned about but worth watching as we tip of the season tommorow.

Unfortunately, it appears to be embedded inside the ITCZ and not tropical cyclone material. The GFS was trying to develop this region a couple days ago or the wave behind it.

Pretty pretty. How is the african wave region doing in terms of drier/wetter than average? (Over land I mean)
