Programs for displaying ATCF files

#1 Postby BigA » Tue Jun 25, 2013 11:38 am

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has or knows of a good program for displaying Automated Tropical Cyclone Forecast (ATCF) files. I am attempting to display various model runs from historical tropical cyclones. I know a lot of sites like TropicalAtlantic have a system to display them.

Thank you very much.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe Unidata's IDV program will let you do this (I think this is only for Windows). GEMPACK for Mac is also an option.
