Free Hurricane Tracking Software

#1 Postby N2FSU » Tue Sep 09, 2003 9:47 am

Here is a link to a very good storm tracking program.

http://www.hurricanesoftware.com/

For a limited trial period (I can't find how long that is) it will update storms automatically over the Internet for you, and it allows you to update storm coordinates manually for an unlimited time.

Enjoy!

Tracking the Eye has been around for years and is pretty decent software. :-) I use Eye of the Storm http://www.starstonesoftware.com/eots/ Eye of the STorm gives you world wide coverage instead of just the Atlantic and Eastern Pacific. Year round storm tracking! :-)

WRKH: Sorry, not "a free plug for my software." I am a Paramedic and have nothing to do with software sales. Just thought someone might be interested in it. And as for FSU being a party school...I guess you could say your former head coach was known to do a little partying himself (aka Destiny the stripper)!

GulfBreezer: Go right ahead! Glad to help out a fellow Nole!

WRKH99: OK...just making sure! And yes we do... hoping to put an end to some of the mess we've been in lately! Anyway...here's some common ground I bet we share: we both can't stand the Gators!!!

Good luck this year!

Not all Bama fans are that way, I don't have a thing against them! Spurrier was just a great coach, can't just hate a school for having a good coach.

I am downloading Tracking the Eye now.. but may download Eye of the Storm too... just to see which is better...

I know I used Tracking the eye a few years ago... and by the way...

Please forgive me if I'm completely dense.. but according to the forecast on the software... Isabel may end up making a beeline at South Florida

I normally prefer the old fashion way... Here's a hurricane tracking chart, use it lol... Besides, I like seeing all the dots lol
