The African Wave Train Continues

#1 Postby ronjon » Sun Jul 07, 2013 7:22 am

Is it mid-August already? Another strong wave emerging off the African coast with another stronger wave inland. The Cape Verde season looks to be starting early this year.

Impressive satellite presentation at this period of the year  Maybe a sign of things to come? Anyway, looks like we have to keep an eye on these twaves right now.

Here is the 00z image. The circulation is still inside Africa and will emerge on Tuesday afternoon-evening.

The thing is will the wave coming off of Africa do what the 0zGFS last night showed or do what the current 18zGFS shows

 folks! And these twaves seems very low in lattitude especially. What can you think when you live in the Lesser Antilles  Just an optic illusion :) as we're far away from reality :double:

Wow! I still can't believe that this Satellite photo is from early July! Looks like a late August early September picture based upon that train of activity..... Crazy times ahead........

The models to my knowledge have yet to show any development potential of this next wave about to emerge off the African coast. Of course, we have plenty of time here and this could change as time progresses.

But, yeah, the Cape Verde train will be cranking these waves one after another in August for sure.
