Re: ATL: CHANTAL - Remnants - Discussion
I am seeing an circulation forming around the area I've circled. It also looks like there is a MLC to the North of it.

Yep, SouthFloridawx, I agree. That is the area I am really focusing on too. I referenced a couple of post ago on this page on how convection is beginning to fire up in that general vicinity.

There is a good mid level circ that has developed. cant see anything at the surface yet but with the convection building it may be trying to work to the surface.

Go to this site:

Then create a 25 image loop on the suspected center and speed it up really quickly.

Defiantly rotation there. If that center can stabilize over the next couple hours, I expect a decent increase at the 8pm TWO. Chantal is nothing if not resilient.

Re: ATL: CHANTAL - Remnants - Discussion

Could the lower(30%)area draw moisture & convection from the explosion below it between Cuba and Jamaica to help it get going? Has Bones ever lied to us before or maybe it was a Klingon dressed up like Dr. McCoy!

I see some turning (lower level?) on the 80W line just north of the Cuban coast
