Bottom line On Isabelle

#1 Postby Stormcenter » Tue Sep 09, 2003 4:34 pm

The bottom line is Isabelle is still a long way from any U.S. landfall, if that were to happen.
As you can see the models and the NHC thinking have change with almost each advisory. It probably will still many times more. My gut feeling still tells me this is a Florida (I hope that I'm wrong) storm and MAY have more than one landfall. But heck it easily could turn out to sea and not bother anyone but fish & ships. We still have a lot of time to watch it and it shouldn't be a problem (if at all) until sometime next week unless of course it decides to accelerate in forward speed.

I can't believe I've taken this long to check a map to see where New Port Richey is located. What is wrong with me?

Johnathan, you're close to where my stepdad's brother lives (My stepdad died last summer and he lived on the east coast in Edgewater). If I get a chance to make it that way, can we do lunch? :)
