Remember?

#1 Postby WeatherEmperor » Tue Sep 09, 2003 6:40 pm

Remember on Friday/Saturday a few days ago when I mentioned that a huge trough is approaching the Pacific North West Coast and that I said that later down the road it could have an impact on Isabel's track as far as the East Coast is concerned? Well it now seems that according to the NHC 5pm discussion that same trough(in whatever form it may be when it reaches the east coast) is forecast to weaken the stearing environment of Isabel when it comes closer to the Bahamas. Perhaps I was wrong to have mentioned that so many days ago but what do you guys think about it now? Any chance that this trough would be strong enough to kick Isabel out to sea? How about North Carolina which hasn't seen anything since Floyd in 99'

EEEK don't say Floyd...NOT FLOYD *runs away screaming* I saw the damage from that first hand cause I worked with the Red Cross on damage assesment. And believe me the flooding would be the same if not worse and then add the wind damage a major cane would produce...*shivers*
