Will the cape verde season close more early?
This 2003 the CV area hasbeen very active with several systems like TD#2,TD#6,Tropical wave that was eventually Bill,Tropical wave that was eventually Claudette,TD#14 and of course the 2 majors of the season so far Fabian and Isabel. Also a few strong waves that emerged africa but fizzeled apart during the long travel thru the tropical atlantic. But will the Cv season close it's gates more early this season because right now a huge trough in the east atlantic the same that is not letting TD#14 organize. If that trough hangs out in that region until mid to late september then we can say CV season is over. But time will tell if we see more systems forming from that region until the end of this month or then the shift to look for developments will be the GOM,BOC,Western caribbean and the western atlantic.

Agree about Isabel being the big headliner of the season.
