Hurricane Izzy was the top story tonight...the mets don't like the westward turn.

Not a surprise from that aspect, although I have to admit that I try to expose myself to extremely little info given by local TV stations, as it could bias an opinion one way or the other (which cannot happen due to my research work at RSMAS) and cause me to look for things in the storm that simply are not present

Kamal was concerned about the west movement as was Stedham...Norcorss wasn't even on tonight but the usually conservative Bob Soper was in his place...and used the phrase "we don't like to see that" about 3 times.

I wish this thing was moving more to the north. But...the realist/scientist in me doesn't see anything to make that happen.

Maybe that will change in the morning. I don't think so though.
