Interesting. One of the comments asked "What's next? Locusts?" as a joke but it would probably surprise them to know that locusts once made it all the way across the Atlantic to the Lesser Antilles. I believe it was sometime in the 1980s during the massive Sahara dust outbreaks. There was lots of fear that the locusts would wreck our crops but the birds made a feast of them!
