Cool Joshua. Sounds like you are very computer savvy (unlike me) ;).

I know David... my Rams suck and so my fantasy football thing probably will as well. Oh well, hakuna matata. The Chefs looked impressive! I also like the Chefs, so I don't consider them rivals -- unless they are playing each other.

Oh yeah, I am. ;) Otherwise I wouldn't admin 4-5 websites, be asked to fix comp stuff, edit system registries, defrag, scan disk, and fix stuff on my own; among other things. ;)

Stephanie...have had more than my share of sore feet after weddings. Last one we went to here in Phoenix, there was no dancing. It was a Romanian wedding. I swear, however, that every child who attended the wedding was invited to sing to the bride and groom!

Josh...I have another friend in California named Josh who is also a computer whiz. Knew him when he was back in IL. So when I think of you, I think of him, and when I think of him, I think of you...

Garrett...studying is food for the soul. While football is an interesting pasttime, it is more enjoyable when the chill of late autumn needs to keep us inside. Besides, by then, you either know to pull for your team or do the "wiat til next year" routine.

I'm arleady saying that about our Bears!

Hi guys! Hope everyone is doing well. :)

We're flying out later today to NH for a friend's funeral. A very close friend just committed suicide. Very sad.
Flying back on 9/11. :o Not too crazy about that, but what can you do. It's all in God's Hands.

See ya'll Thursday. Have a great week!

Good Morning!

Hey...what's that between my toes??? Nooooo....it's NOT what you think, it's WEBS "LOL!" A little on the soggy side this morning, it started raining around 0123 this morning and it's still raining, suppose to rain all day, tonight and tomorrow, then the monsoons are OVER! Pretty decent monsoon for us up here, this trough and the rain it's bringing, will finish up the season on the + side, while other parts of the state are WAY, WAY below normal on rainfall.

MAN...I'm tellin' ya's, FALL is HERE!!! Almost wore a sweatshirt to work yesterday, a cool SW breeze all day with a high of 65°! Sure does feel good though!

Donna, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, suicide is such a tragic thing, I can't imagine how you feel......rest assured, you will be in my prayers for a safe trip and may God touch your heart and lighten your burden.

That's all fer now......make it a GREAT day would ya's......OH, BTW......no work for us today, "Rain Delay" WooooHooooooooooo!

Sorry to hear about your friend Donna. You are right, it is in God's hands on the flying.

Dennis, I am glad you are getting that rain. It is cooler here this morning. My pecan trees are starting to change color, even though they are full of green pecans.

Hope everybody has a great day.

Good Morning All!!
Boy, I have missed the Porch! Been so wrapped up in the tropics, I have had little time to browse anywhere else! The weather here is beautiful but we are ready for some cooler weather! Dennis, it sounds lovely at your place! Maybe I will just come there until it makes it to the south!

I have my surgery behind me and my son in school and I am on a break from school until Thursday, so I actually have free time this week. I don't know what to do :o Sure not used to that!!

Well, I wanted to check in and see how things were and let you all know that I miss you!! :( Donna, I am sorry to hear your news. God Bless You!!

Take Care...........till next time

A quick hello to my FP friends!

Dennis - I am too glad to hear that the monsoon was pretty frutiful this year. Enjoy the rain!

Sandi - RELAX and enjoy your time off. You're still recouperating and probably don't even realize it yet.

Today is quite breezy down in AC - Henri is off the coast of the Carolinas and is giving us winds out of the NE. They're still not sure if he's going out to sea or will be paying us alittle visit with some showers. He's taking his good old time that's for sure!

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Hello there folks :)

Been a looooong time since I said Hello to all in here.... I too have been drooling over the tropics section.

I hope your all doing well and I have missed the off topic section SOOOO much. Just waiting for this cyst to go down a bit and the pain to subside.
I am so glad about our extension for our visa being extended.. a true answer to prayer indeed. I originally was told it was until 2007 but it is only until 2005. So we have to put my husband through labor certification which can take up to a year and only costs around $8000.00

Anyway. Today is my Birthday so Im not going to worry, and Im going to eat my cake and feast my eyes on the tropics

Have a good Tuesday all.... catch you soon.

:new-bday:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANZI!!!

You're right, the Tropics have been "the place" now a days. It's been very, very busy. I hope that you are feeling better and I'm sure that everything will work out with your husband's labor certification so that you won't have to go through the visa nightmare anymore!

Good Morning!

And a FINE one at that! IT'S SNOWING!!!! Well......not here, just up the road a piece in Colo., Utah, there's a winter weather advisory in effect today and tonight! Won't be long folks, ol snowman will be in his ELEMENT....."SNOW!" Down boy, down "LOL!"

WHEW, anyways, looks like the *true pot belly* will have it's first fire tonight, forecast low of 38° for the downtown area....that will make for a nice, cool 32° for me!! I need to pick the rest of the 'maters, squash etc from the veggie garden this afternoon.

That's nuff outta me, make it a GGgggreat day would ya??

I decided to stop by the Front Porch today, only to find that there are people inside firing up the pot belly stove. Cool! 8-)

I actually used the heater in my car this morning, as the temp was down to 49 degrees at 6 AM. This fall weather we are having is wonderful! :)

Dennis - Enjoy the frosty temps, and I know you see some snow in the not-too-distant future. 8-)

Bronwyn - I hope you had an excellent birthday. :D

Stephanie - don't be surprised if the storm formerly know as Henri brings rain up here by Saturday! :o

Sandi - Glad to hear your surgery is behind you and you have some time to relax. :)

I hope everyone has an excellent day. :D
