Jargon

#1 Postby Matthuff » Thu Aug 15, 2013 11:50 am

I reciently moved to Houston Texas and I'm very concerned about tropical storms. As I have read through many of the posts, I have a hard time understanding what people are talking about because of all the weather related jargon. I would appreciate anyone who would be willing to define any of the common jargon used on this site.

Thanks -

Maybe it would be nice to have a sticky somewhere with a list of some acronyms and other jargon used and a short description of what they mean?

That would probably quite helpful for new members.
