Why skip the "f" storm and go straight to "g"?
Anyway I'll play along sept 10 cat 5 into N.O then cuts east along north gulf coast crossing Florida as cat 2 then up the east coast hitting NY and surrounding areas as a cat 3

I will tell you what I hope, I hope we don't have to worry about anymore of the names on the list, I guess when you live in an evacuation zone and you come back home to your friends and family who have suffered total devastation of their property, it will do that to you!!

I am going to make a suggestion concerning these posts.
We have not even gotten to the F storm this year so lets cool it on the when will the "insert name here" storm form posts. As Nikki stated above there are many of us here who have experienced loss due to Tropical Cyclones of every level.
Post's hoping for a storm to form and make landfall ARE/WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. We consider posts of that sort to be disrespectful and insensitive to some who have had bad experiences due to tropical cyclones.
After the next named storm has occurred would be an "appropriate" time for a post wondering when the next storm will form, which should be made in the form of a poll instead of just a post. Anyone who has any concerns about this may contact me or Southerngale by pm and we will gladly discuss it. IT WILL NOT BE DISCUSSED OPENLY IN THIS THREAD OR ANY OTHER.
