The 12zGFS now develops this some near the islands at 192hrs and could be one of those sneaky tropical waves that does become something down the road, lets see if the GFS still does this in a few days because if it does it may need to be watched carefully

NAVGEM develops a weak TS from this on Wednesday.

Thanks for that nice pic. Yeah, decent structure there Ouragan but our main focus is always: could it make it this time in spite of the negatives elements that all it predecessors had faced? It's the 10000 $ question

Seeing how the season has gone thus far, one would have to have the patience (and faith) of Job!

I believe the CMC and GFS hinted at some development of Pouch 24L in earlier runs. Looks pretty good so far and thinking a yellow tag at 2pm, say 10/20%??

There is still considerable dry and stable air off the coast of Africa currently. We will see how this pouch evolves, but based on this season's track record up to this point, I wouldn't bet on this definitely forming.
